A little about myself so that you can see if I am the person you want to work with through the challenges that bring you to this page.
My belief that individuals can develop meaningful, thriving lives despite their challenges and struggles was the guiding force behind my motivation to enter this field. I have focused my learning and experience on assisting others in overcoming obstacles and creating the life they want. I am particularly interested in helping persons living with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Substance use and those navigating complicated relationships.
My therapeutic process is integrative and draws on a combination of education, training, and life experience. I aim to be authentic, relatable, non-judgemental, and mindful. I seek to connect with you meaningfully and walk beside you on your journey through life.
Everyone comes to therapy with unique needs and backgrounds. The process is explorative and often involves finding creative approaches to life challenges. It includes learning to apply various skills and new understandings. Therapeutic support is often beneficial.
My personal struggles through life have guided and motivated me on my journey to becoming a therapist. We all need assistance from time to time, the space to be ourselves and explore changes; this can be invaluable to our growth.
